The writing and editing process for “Naked in Korea” are going pretty damn well, if I do say so myself. If you found “The Notice” to be a little too dramatic and depressing (congratulations…that was the point), then you’ll find this to be a total departure. “Naked in Korea” is shaping up to be a funny and eye-opening account of one unbelievable year in Korea. You’ll find out why, during my 12+ months there, I will never trust Korean plumbers or landladies ever again. You’ll find out about why I’m a bit of a kimchi snob. You’ll find out all about my trip to the DMZ. And, of course, you’ll find out why the book is called “Naked in Korea”.
Which it is…And I was.
I’m also actively working on a highly classified sci-fi novel that blends “Brave New World” with…well, you’ll just have to wait. But I’m extremely excited about the project. So much so that I’ve already outlined nearly half of it and started drafting chapters while concurrently working on “Naked in Korea”. Is it going to be the next big thing? Well, that’s up to you.
While I have your attention, I just want to direct you to a few places. I’m trying to get my platform up and running so I’m back on Twitter. You can find me here: https://twitter.com/#!/SeanMChandler and, if you’re a fellow writer, I will follow you back! If you want to follow my writing career on Facebook, you can humble me by becoming a fan here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sean-M-Chandler/266127263457621 and join the nearly 25 people that think I’m worth a “Like”!
Finally, if you want to know a little more about my story and how “The Notice” came to be, check out a cool article on my book from my beloved alma mater: http://www.centre.edu/news/2012/chandler_notice.html.
Thanks, Everyone! And I’ll try to give you a taste of “Naked in Korea” in the next few weeks.
